TeddieRoseathome.jpg

Sandy,

Teddie is now 12 weeks old and after just three short weeks with her, we can't imagine her not being a part of our family.  She is sweet, smart, playful, and eager to please.  She's also loves to cuddle and to be near people, which we all love. She is now going in her crate by choice to nap and is housebroken.  My daughters have enjoyed teaching her some basics like how to sit, shake, and stay. She picked these tricks up in about 5 minutes.  Our 6 year old lab mix was not quite sure about her in the beginning, but he has grown to love her, play with her, and share with her.  She absolutely adores him and follows him around everywhere.  We are grateful to you for the care you take in breeding these precious puppies and the time you put forth making sure they are ready to go home and giving them a great head-start in training.  We look forward to many more heartwarming Goldendoodle moments over the years.

Amber at home in Ma.

Sandy,
From the second we saw Amber, all of us just fell in love.  She is the sweetest puppy you could imagine!  At first, she was so shy.  Amber would hide under bushes and hide between our legs.  Now she is the funniest puppy and has a personality of her own.  Everyone still comes up to us and asks, "What kind is she?  She is ADORABLE!"  We are almost done with her puppy classes.  Amber is such a good girl. You trained her so well ahead of time!  Thank you so much for letting us have little Amber.  We couldn't imagine life without her.
Love,
The Maffa family

Sandy -

We cannot thank you enough for the addition to our family.  Murfee has been absolutely wonderful.  From the moment we got him home, he has fit in so well with our family.  Dawson, Grant and I could not be happier with the choice of you and your family as our breeder!

Murfee is so smart, cuddly and cute!  We just absolutely love him and are so pleased with him.  The puppy kisses are the BEST!

We will continue to send you pictures and updates!

Take care - and many puppy hugs and kisses to you!

Gusrelaxingathome.jpg   Gus relaxing at home:

Hi Sandy and Gerald, I can’t believe it has been over a year since I flew in to pick up Gus.  I took some nice pictures of him today so I thought I would send them along with an update. Gus is truly the sweetest dog I could have every imagined! People are still pulling over when I am walking him to ask “what kind of dog is that?” He is smart, gentle and so so funny. We have so many kids in and out all day and they all love him. He is the star at school pick up. All the kids come running over and he just sits patiently until all the kids have a turn rubbing his belly.  I love how he greets me with wags and kisses each morning. He sits quietly with his head on my feet while I read the paper and drink my coffee. As soon as I get my sneakers he gets so excited because he knows it is time for our hike. He loves to be running in the woods and is so obedient that I can give him lots of freedom. As soon as I call his name he is back by my side in a heartbeat.  As you can see, besides his wonderful temperament, he is just so handsome. Those big brown eyes melt my heart. I think he looks a lot like his Mom and from what you have said about Kelly Jo- he is just as sweet!  Thank you again for letting us adopt Gus! We feel so blessed to have him as part of our family. Best regards, Tricia, Joe, Meghan, and Patrick Dwyer

Bailee02.jpg Bailey

Hi Sandy & Gerald,

Hope you had a great Holiday?  I just wanted to give you an update on Bailey who we love so much!!  She is truly the sweetest little girl in the world.  She loves to come everywhere with us! (We hate to leave her home).  She is now weighing in at 16 lbs. and is just the cutest little thing.  We can't go anywhere without some commenting on how cute she is "she does look just like a little stuffed animal."  We have been doing Puppy Kindergarten classes with her and she knows how to sit, lie down, stay, and give a shake with voice and hand commands.  She thinks the kids are her kids and will not let them out of her sight - which is to cute!  Her good friend is a male black lab "Brady" she loves to go to the woods and run and chase him all around.  She keeps up with the big boys as well!  She was just spayed and microchiped this past Monday and I have to say she was a bit sore on Monday night.  Tuesday she was already back to her young self!  She is healing just fine and you would not even know she just had the surgery this week.

Once again, I can't thank you enough for letting Bailey come and live with us in Boston!  She is truly loved so much by us as well as everyone she meets.  I do have to say that she is not really fond of other dogs!  But, meeting people is another story!!!  Even if you leave for two minutes and come back into the room you get your greeting as if you have been gone for days - I just suck that up so much I love to get puppy kisses behind my ears is her favorite spot to kiss you.  She definitely, can be active if you want to go hiking in the woods or a couch potato if you feel like hanging in on a cold MA afternoon!

I have attached a couple of pictures for you to see how big your "little girl" is getting.

Thanks again,

Karen Regan

SweeLillynow.jpg   Lillynow.jpg

Dear Sandy,      We are thoroughly enjoying our sweet Lilly.  After only 3 weeks, she is truly a member of our family and we can't imagine life without her in it.  She is a great playmate for the kids, and is so loving.  She is growing beautifully!  She has gained 2 pounds and now weighs 12 1/2 pounds.  The vet says she will max out at about 24-25 pounds.  She is such a good girl.  She slept through the night from the first night she came home.  She loves her crate and when we leave the door open she will often go in there on her own when she's tired and take a snooze.  She loves to retrieve ( I guess it's in her genes), and plays enthusiastically bringing tennis balls and the frisbee back to any willing play partner.  Her coat is soft.  It's so full and fluffy, and doesn't seem to get matted at all.  She really is the cutest puppy that we could ever imagine.  Thanks for all your support and advice while we were trying to select our puppy and for helping us pick the very best one for our family.       All the best!     Christine    (Westborough, MA.)

MrNoodle.jpg up date on Mr. Noodle:

I came across your information and wanted to send you some photos of Mr. Noodle.  We adopted him from you in December of 2005.   I think you used to call him Moe.  I wanted to let you know that Mr. Noodle is the BEST dog, and we love him so much.  We get so many compliments about his demeanor and his cuteness.  He is a sweet boy, who loves to play and is also a great watch dog.  No one comes to our house unannounced!  He really has been such a wonderful addition to our family.  We got him when our daughter was two and they have been best friends since the day "Santa" dropped him off.  She is now four years old and he is her shadow.  He follows her everywhere and even sleeps under her bed!  Thank you so much for doing such a great job raising such healthy, happy dogs.  We are so thankful to have such a wonderful dog...Mr. Noodle!!        Tiffany Chapman

EllieMayathomeinFl.jpg Ellie Mae at her home in Big Pine Key, Florida Keys

Sandy, I searched all over on-line and found that I kept going back to Sunflower Farm. Once I saw the older puppies you had available I was in, and made the call. Determining the right puppy for our family was Sandy's expertise, and did she get it right! Our little mini Ellie is the perfect match-thank you Sandy for your guidance and intuition. It is so evident that these puppies are raised in a healthy, happy environment, and are socialized perfectly and adapt beautifully to new people. She is settling in beautifully, getting used to the Florida heat and adapting to everything with a cautious, intelligent process. These dogs are so smart and pick up training right away. This is also the most loving little dog I've ever known, what a gift to have her in our lives. Thank you Sandy and Gerald for all the special time and attention given to this little one. She is a gem! I will highly recommend your puppies to anyone looking for the perfect dog.

DudleyandSophieholidaycard.jpg Sophie with her best buddy Dudley

Sandy,  I can't say how thankful I am to have my little Sophie.  You always refer to them as your little angles, and now I know why.  She is absolutely wonderful.  She is so smart and was housebroken in the first week.  She sleeps through the night, is so friendly, and loves to cuddle and play.  She does not know a stranger either human or canine, and is a fovorite at the dog park with both.  She is the perfect addition to my home!  I want to thank you for all your patience discussing the puppies personalities on the multiple phone calls, as well as your flexibility in preparing the puppies for our visit to select one to take home with us.  I really appreciate your guidance in helping to pick the perfect little angle for me.  It's so obvious that Sophie started out in a caring and loving environment!  I am recommending you to anyone in search for the perfect pet!  They can't go wrong with your help and your wonderful well loved puppies.

Thanks again,   Angela and Sophie             North Miami, Florida

  LolainMa.jpg  Lola relaxing at home.

Sandy,

Hope you are well,  I just wanted to write a quick update on Lola.  She went on her first car trip to Cape Cod this past weekend, and , except for being very car sick for the ride, she had a great time.  The best moment was when she went to the beach.  At first she tried to eat the sand (yuck--she thought so too) and step in the freezing water.  But then she made a BIG DISCOVERY!  At home she sometimes likes to stand in place and run her front feet back and forth, as if trying to dig through the floor.  When she did that in the sand--WOW!  I can't even describe the surprise and delight.  She dug and dug and dug, she laid down in the hole, she turned around and laid in it the other way, and then she dug some more.  I guess she and Jonathan both love digging.  Their personalities are surprising similar.

Thanks for picking her out for us.  It's hard to remember how long we've had her as I can't imagine anymore not having her.

All Best,  Catherine                    Westwood, MA

  HersheyakaMaverick.jpg Maverick

Sandy,

Maverick is the most wonderful addition to our home.  He has the kindest and most playful disposition.  He is smart, funny and always looking for company.  Our three kids adore him as do we.  His crate training was simple and he seems to be grasping other simple commands that we are working on (except for "no chewing that"...but  we are working on it).  He is just a happy little puppy with a sweet adorable face.  This is our first dog and we just love having him as part of our family.  Thank you Sandy for all your helpful suggestions. We feel confident that we were steered the right way when someone gave us the name of Sunflower Farm Goldendoodles.  Many pictures to come soon.

  Tucker.jpgTucker

Dear Sandy,

I just wanted to write you and tell you how much we love our Mini Goldendoodle.  He is beautiful, smart, sweet-tempered and very loving.  Thank you for all your help in picking out my dog, answering my questions and most of all for being a breeder with integrity.  You are nice to everyone that calls about your dogs.  That's what makes the adoption process so special.  It's easy to tell you love these dogs and that gives people confidence too.  I would recommend Sunflower Farm Mini Goldendoodles to anyone, anytime.  Tucker is the perfect dog for me!

Thanks again,  Lou Dillon & Tucker       Columbia, MD

DudleyDoodleDaniels.jpg   Dudley Doodle Daniels

From:  Jeff Daniels of Miami FL.

I've ended up with the "dream puppy."   Cute and cuddly like a teddy bear; doesn't shed at all; house trained in literally 3 days; (and I live on the 25th floor of a high rise in Miami, so I was really worried about this).  He is unbelievably smart; loves other dogs and people; and everyone he meets says he's "the cutest puppy they've ever seen."  On top of all that, the buying experience from Sandy was terrific.  She answered all my questions (and I had a ton of them) promptly and honestly.  The love she and her husband show their puppies was highly evident during my visit to their home when I picked up my new Doodle.  You can't go wrong working with Sandy in choosing your new puppy.

Dudleyfirstbirthday.jpg Dudley is not spoiled or anything and is definitely adapting to south Florida weather.  What a Doodle!!!   Thanks again,  Jeff & Dudley    Miami, FL.

   Lacey

Dear Sandy,

Just wanted to say that Lacey is doing great.  We've had her for two months now and every day is better than the last.   She's the sweetest dog and has the best personality.   She's so smart and is always learning something new.  I really don't think I could have asked for a smarter or more loving puppy.  She loves to run and play in the park behind our house and is finally starting to get the concept of the game of fetch.  Training classes are in the works and the future is bright.

Thanks again for raising such awesome dogs.

Jesse Love & Lacey               Levittown, NY

 Rolf (aka Odie)

Sandy,     We are so grateful that you were so accommodating to our busy schedules.   It is clear he was use to being with people and well loved before we picked him up.  It shows in his personality.  He is very laid back and always wants to please!

Thanks,  Jenny, Dan and Odie          Oak Creek,  WI.

 Charlie.jpg Charlie

Hey Sandy,

I just wanted to thank you for a great experience and a great addition to my life.  Charlie is so loving and smart.  I am amazed at how easy it has been to teach him anything, from sitting to potty training.  When I got Charlie I was hoping for the "dream" dog everyone wants and I got that plus some.  He seems to understand everything I say to him, especially when it comes to getting a treat.  I fell in love with him from the day I saw him on the Internet.  I was a bit scared to buy him without actually seeing him in person, but my experience with getting him right to my door was all a positive one.  Also I am currently an allergy patient and I have no problems with Charlie since he does not shed.  I would recommend buying a puppy from Sandy to anyone, especially for those who can't make the trip to pick one out in person.  Thanks again Sandy.

   CharliendDusty09.jpg Dusty & Charlie

My dearest Sandy,

After extensive research for the best Goldendoodle Breeder, our grad school student Travis adopted his puppy Charlie (Mini Goldendoodle) in December of '06 from you.  That was an amazing Christmas for us!  Completely trusting Travis' judgement and seeing your continuous love and concern for Charlie magnetized us to you when adopting our True Mini Goldendoodle, Dusty!  How exciting, being a birthday gift from my hubby, Mike and sons, Derrick and Travis.........Dusty was also born on my birthday, June 6th!!!

We truly appreciated your continuous photo updates online and accepting our phone calls that kept us abreast of his progress/growth during the first 8 weeks of his life.  It was not hard to tell that you take exceptional care of your puppies......I will never forget the time that you told me that you were making Sunny (Dusty's mommy) scrambled eggs for her breakfast because she needed to supply her babies with healthy milk, that was too cute!

The delivery of Dusty from your West Virginia home to ours in Pennsylvania went just as smoothly as the delivery of our granddog, Charlie.  Thankx!

We are paw-sitively amazed at how smart Dusty is and his sweet personality just melts our hearts!  We love him so much!!!  Dusty truly brings out the best in all of us.  And Charlie is loving his new lil puppymate too!  Their being hypoallergenic is also a huge bonus to my family, for we have a history of allergies.

I'm truly like a giddy lil girl with her very first puppy!  We cannot remember what life was like without our Dusty and Charlie.  They bring sooo much happiness to every single day of our lives!  From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!!!

Without a doubt, we would highly recommend you to anyone......for YOU ARE THE BEST!!!  Sandy and Gerald too, you have made friends for life with the Doll family.......xoxo

Hugs and Puppy Love,   Pam Doll                                   McSherrystown, PA

kcathome.jpg    kc.jpg KC

Sandy,

I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of KC.  She is absolutely wonderful.  She has learned to sit, stay, shake and starting to lie down.  She is sleeping in her crate at night, but loves the couch during the day.  She loves playing in the snow with the kids.  She even likes to sled.  She weighs about 18 lbs now.  Her hair is getting longer as you can see in the picture, we are having her groomed.

Again, I can't thank you enough for allowing our family to adopt KC.  I will continue to tell people about Sunflower Farm and my wonderful experience with you and Gerald.

Hope this message finds you well.

God bless,

Holly Soistman

Dear Gerald & Sandy,

I want to thank you for such a pleasant, fun loving little guy!  Finnegan has become my lucky charm.....although he has only been here with me for a week today, he has filled my heart and my home with both enthusiasm and a zest for living that I didn't realize was missing.

Your knowledge of the breed and breeding in general has gone far to provide your customers with the best little Doodle that money can buy.  We will be repeat customers.  Truthfully I can't tell you how special this pup is.

Thank you for your help, your support and most of all for the best little Doodle I could have ever hoped for.

 rubyandKeeley.jpgRuby & Keely Rubyat3yearsold..jpg Ruby

Hi Sandy and Gerald,                                                               April 6th

I don't know what life was like before Ruby (aka Penny).  She is nothing but pure delight.  We got outstanding service from Delta Airlines.  When I was at the airport waiting for our return flight, they let me walk her in an area that was used only by airline personnel.  Her treatment by the handlers was great.  I hope others will read this and not hesitate to have one of your fabulous dogs transported cross country.  We had our second vet visit last Friday.  Ruby had gained 3ozs. and still weighs less than 21lbs.  She had her rabies shot and is now fully prepared for her classes with the Humane Society.   We will begin small puppy training on Friday.  She is very smart and I think she will do well in the class.  Keely, her big sister will be taking another training class as well.

I can sit for hours and watch Ruby and Keely play.  Keely has become a different dog since Ruby's arrival.  She is very protective of Ruby and will let her do just about anything to her.  Ruby likes to eat on Keely's face and she just lays back and lets it happen.  Ruby has not learned to bark even though Keely does.  One barker is more than enough.  Attached are some photos of Keely and Ruby, running in tall grass is a favorite past-time.

Hope all is well with you.  We love our baby very much.

Fondly thinking of you,

Sharon and Ilene                                                                    Fairfax, California

Graceonbench.jpg Grace in her summer cut.

Hi Sandy,

I have been slow about sending new pictures of our darling Grace.  Here she is at 7 months and clearly she is a beloved member of our family.  Neither of us have ever had such a wonderful dog.  Good luck with the litter of puppies this summer.  We are glad we didn't wait because we would have missed the BEST DOG EVER.

Thank you,

Kate Wise and Rich Hoffheins             Kensington, MD.

SukieRusty.jpg Rusty and Sukie (brothers)

Hi Sandy,

I would like to take a moment to tell you how wonderful these puppies are.  I have always had two puppies, but never having a Goldendoodle, I decided to go with Sukie first.  He turned out to be such a wonderful, well behaved and easy to train puppy.  Having said that and knowing his brother was still there, made me not hesitate for a moment to bring Rusty home.  These two little guys truly light up my life.  I want to thank you for all of the support and help in getting these puppies to Massachusetts.  Keep up the good work because I am sure you will bring happiness to many others looking for a truly wonderful puppy.

Judy Kaddy                               Fitchburg, MA.

Sandy & Gerald,

Riley is truly an unbelievable dog!  He's so smart, sweet, obedient & funny and we are enjoying him so much.

He adjusted to his routine with us in just a few days and was house broken in a week -no crate.  You were right, he really doesn't like his crate, but he will take naps in there-just can't close the door.  He sleeps in bed with us at night.

He attracts lots of attention wherever we go because he looks like a teddy bear and his coat is so beautiful.  Everyone in our neighborhood is offering to dog sit.

We start obedience school the 1st. week of January, which I know will be easy - he's so smart and already pretty obedient.

I've had dogs my whole life, many different breeds, but none can compare to how wonderful this guy is.  If you ever need to offer me as a reference - please do - everyone should have a Goldendoodle!

Please keep up your breeding.  I've provided info. on Sunflower Farm to quite a few people.  Plus, we may consider a second puppy.  Have a wonderful Holiday.  Many thanks for Riley

Fondly,  Robin, Steve, Erin and Stephen Toomey    Kensington, MD.

Bella09.jpg Bella, '09

Sandy and Gerald, I just wanted to give you an update on Bella. She is growing up to be such a dear and is loved by everyone in the family. We've made a few trips to the beach and she loves that. She also has a huge fenced in yard to play in now as well. She was spayed on Friday and is coming a long fine. Thanks for such a wonderful dog and congratulations on your new litter. Perhaps you could sell one to the Obama family, I'll be happy to provide a reference.
