Our Health Guarantee to You: 

Sunflower Farm guarantees that our Parent dogs are certified by the OFA when they reach the age of two.To the best of our knowledge they are free from any hereditary health problems, such as Hip Dysplasia, Cataracts, etc.  We highly recommend that you keep your puppy on a high quality food, such as that supplied with your "Puppy-Pack" We recommend 4 Health, from Tractor Supply, the one we start your puppy on. I realize that not everyone has access to this food, so any GOOD quality natural food or one without by-products is acceptable.

  Puppies under no circumstance should ever be allowed to become overweight, or allowed to sit in a crate all day.  If a puppy/dog is found to be overweight with health problems, this health guarantee is NULL and VOID!

For the first year of his life only exercise moderately.  Short walks, swimming & supervised play with other dogs to allow for proper joint and bone development.  Puppies should only be allowed to climb stairs on occasion, for the first year, as it is not good for hip development.  

Our puppies are covered with a 24 month hip & eye guarantee as well as the 72 hour general health guarantee.

If your puppy is found to have Cataracts or Hip Dysplasia to a degree that would render him/her unsuitable as a companion (beyond a mild condition) within the 24 month period, he/she may be returned and you may pick another puppy  from another similar breeding.  Any difference in the price and cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  If you choose to keep your puppy, you are entitled to a refund of one half the purchase price for which you paid.  Although, we must have a copy of statement from your DVM and also the appropriate documents from the OFA or CERF before any refund will be given.  If the puppy/dog is found to be overweight during this period, your contract becomes NULL and VOID!

You must keep your puppy on the NuVet vitamins for which we have supplied you a sample of, for at least one year for the Guarantee to be valid.  (we do track this through the NuVet Company, and know as soon as you order)  Also, your puppy must be Spayed/Neutered by 6 months of age for the guarantee to be valid.  Please mail us a copy of Vet statement, along with your name and name of puppy as soon as your puppy is  altered.

Your puppy must be spayed/neutered by the time he/she reaches 6 months of age.  A copy of this must be mailed of faxed to us for the quarantee to be valid.
